I used tinder to find subjects for this work. Venturing to the places they live on our first meet, I work to understand my own vulnerability as well as that of the sitter. I delve into my innate biases towards the men of tinder and explore manipulation to the extent my personality allows. Navigating through the personal space of others as well as my own personal space, I push the boundaries of my safety in order to explore my fears that stem from the systematic oppression of women. I blur the line between performance and reality; art and life.
