Alongside the book stalls at New York Art Book Fair, there will be a full program of arts and education events happening all weekend, and we are very pleased to announce that Artists Carmen Winant, and Patrick Waterhouse will both be taking part in events and talks over the NYABF weekend at the PS1 Bookshop.
On Saturday the 22nd, at 3-4PM, Carmen Winant, Molly Prentiss, Maia Ruth Lee and Durga Chew-Bose will be delivering short, experimental readings and performances on the subject of childbirth and art, in conjunction with Winant’s book My Birth, published by ITI Press and SPBH Editions.
At 5PM the same say, Patrick Waterhouse will celebrate the Launch of his new book ‘Restricted Images – Made With The Warlpiri Of Central Australia’, published by SPBH Editions, with a discussion on the books collaborative process and issues of representation.
