Bio - Shane Lavalette (b. 1987, Burlington, VT) is a photographer and the founding publisher/editor of Lay Flat, an independent imprint devoted to contemporary photography. He received his BFA from Tufts University in partnership with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Shane currently lives and works in Somerville, MA.
