an intensive two-day seminar designed for photographers who want to learn how to publish a photographic book. This seminar provides the tools and skills to shape a photographic book and understand what the possibilities of production, distribution and marketing. Throughout the weekend, will explore different models of publishing from the work of contemporary artists and photographers. We will analyze the issue, the sequence and design both theoretically and practically. Participants are encouraged to submit their own photography project and work in the process of making your book using a program-on-Demand Printing.The seminar is taught in English.

This workshop will enable you to think through an appropriate form for your book project, and find out what the options are for self-publishing, distribution and marketing. The class will explore a spectrum of contemporary photographers’ and artists’ books and analyze their different publishing strategies. Editing, sequencing and designing will be discussed theoretically and practically.
The participants will be encouraged to present their own photographic project and work on the process of bookmaking using Printing on Demand software.
