Self Publish, Be Happy invites the public to partake in a performance by Jimmy Limit. Participants will be asked to create work instead of the artist, literally receiving a set of instructions on how to make a Jimmy Limit photograph. Such images will then be printed – first become an exhibition and later a publication. The performance / game will offer an insight into the artist’s practice, while questioning authorship and originality, and exploring the relationship between sculpture and photography.
This event will take place at the The CONTACT Gallery Pop-Up located down the hall from the CONTACT Gallery.
