A battle of the image-makers, live on stage.
Duel 2 was an image-clash between photographers Jean-Vincent Simonet, and his acid-soaked psychedelic imagery, and Charlotte Krieger, and her avant-garde approach to portraiture, in 2015. It was organised by Self Publish, Be Happy in conjunction with world-renowned art and design school École cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ECAL), from which Simonet (from France) and Krieger (from Switzerland) are both graduates. As music boomed through Corsica Studios nightclub, South London, visuals from both artists were animated using VJ technology and projected onto surrounding screens to create a live and immersive experience for the crowd.
